When I founded LaDress, my goal was to make women's lives easier and help them feel confident and empowered. Over the years, I'm proud that LaDress has remained a brand that believes fashion is about more than just clothing, it has the power to do more. It's also a way to tell stories and, in our own small way, make the world around us a little more beautiful. That's why we are so proud to introduce our new collection: Sweaters with a Story.Every month, we'll unveil a new sweater in a different colour, each featuring a unique design with a double meaning. What you notice at first glance reveals something entirely different when you take a closer look. And every sweater has a story to tell.

First Crush

I remember my first crush like it was yesterday. Being so young, it was something I had never felt before and it was magical!

 A first crush ignites a spark that startles the heart for the very first time and though quite different from true love, we spend our lives trying to find that exact same feeling again - in relationships, passions, but also in random meetings or unexpected adventures.

 May we never stop doing so and always strive for those moments that make the heart jump just like it did at that special moment back in time.

Life isn't always easy, we all know that. Sometimes the challenges are small, sometimes they're life-changing. Life isn't an endless series of carefree, sun-filled days. Sometimes... it rains.

The beautiful thing is that you get to choose how you respond to the rain. We've danced in it a few times ourselves, and it turned out to be a pretty good idea. It brought lightness, strength, and joy, especially when we needed it most.

That's why our second Sweater with a Story is a tribute to this simple but powerful thought: Dance in the RAIN. You'll find the message on the label inside the sweater, a gentle reminder for yourself, or a meaningful gift for someone you love.

SWEATERS WITH A STORY PT 1 - UITVERKOCHT

True North

Life doesn't always go the way we hope. Sometimes the setbacks are small, sometimes they feel overwhelming. I've experienced both. During one of those more difficult periods, a dear friend gave me the book True North. Sometimes things come into your life at exactly the right moment... That book, and the philosophy behind it, became a true lifesaver. And to this day, it remains my guide.

We all have an inner compass. A direction that is uniquely our own. Your own TRUE NORTH. Finding that compass and learning to trust it is a journey. And the more you listen to it and let it guide your decisions, the more it leads you to extraordinary places, gives you strength, and connects you with remarkable people. For me, it has been, and still is, the most inspiring journey I could ever have taken.

That's why our very first Sweater with a Story is called TRUE NORTH. You'll find the story on the label sewn inside the sweater, a beautiful reminder for yourself or a meaningful gift for someone you love.
